Monday
I'm bored at work so I thought I would give my blog some lovin'.
Things have been crazy the past couple of weeks. I'm glad they are finally winding down.
My weekend was really tough. I was pretty much non-stop the entire weekend. I made some money though, so it's cool. Saturday and Sunday morning was taken up by a church gig for Dr. Monson. She hired four brass players and a percussionist to play on an advent service for her church. The service was really nice. It was at a Methodist church so I didn't have to listen to a screaming pastor telling me I'm going to hell the entire time. Dr. Monson programmed some really nice music, so it was an all-around enjoyable experience. She seemed very happy with the service so hopefully I'll get hired again. =]
Tomorrow I have two exams that will officially close out my semester. I have percussion early at like 7:30 or something ridiculous, and then theory right after that. I did really well in those classes this semester so I think I will do fine.
There has been some major drama going on this past week too. At this point I'm just sitting back and enjoying the show. People are really stupid sometimes, and I am a firm believer in "what comes around, goes around". That's all I'm going to say.
I finally set on a time to go home for Christmas. I'm taking a week off, from this coming Saturday to the following Saturday. After my break I'm going to try to work as much as possible, and save up some money for next semester.
...I think my blog needs a face lift. I really feel bad that haven't been on top of my blog. It's a good thing for me to do, so I need to keep it going. Maybe a new layout will reignite my interest.
